Custom SOG Tigershark.

So a while back the rubber grip on my Sk5 tigershark came off, so i enlisted the help of a local knifesmith to rehandle it. This is the outcome. let me know what you think.

How much tang is under the handle on those, I have a few old SOGs and have been trying to find out for ages if they are full tang
Is it full tang, skeletonised, I don't suppose you took any pics of it 'naked' ? !!

Is it full tang, skeletonised, I don't suppose you took any pics of it 'naked' ? !!

It's a good 3/4 tang. A good solid solid thick slab of steel behind those rubber scales.

That handle is sweet!!! I'm not a fan of huge double guards but that handle is beautiful. Makes me want to to rip the handle off my SEAL 2000.

I notice that this is the Tigershark without the serrations. (Then I read your post again; of course it is with SK5.) If I knew where to have a handle like that on my Tigersharks at a fair pice, they would loose the plastic handles entirely! I don't view them as collector pieces that I necessarily want to keep factory original.
