Custom Stag Kukri Fighter $1200.00

There's something about the color and corners of the blade that don't look right. Plus for 1200 bux, I can hire some goons.

The handle looks comfy.

Technically not a khuk ... no cho.

$1200? even $895? I don't think so. You could have a khuk made by a custom knifemaker for yourself for that price.

Or buy a Sheeva Cheese :D

I wonder. If a khuk costs $1200, do you think it would come with some kind of guarantee. Something like:

"This Genuine Kukri Nepalese Gurhka Killing knife is Guaranteed to take down a Wild Boar in a SINGLE throw. This is not a 2 throw Genuine killing knife!!!!!!!!"

:D :D

For 1200 bucks it better come with the wild boar...that can tap dance....and do my taxes.

Picture quality is poor, but it's a pretty piece. I couldn't spend that kind of money on a custom without knowing who made it.

I agree, Raggie. Maybe we can do some research to find out who PBW is....

The engraving is nice, and the handle work is good. No pins, though - kinda worries me for being a "user".

The blade grind is nice...but is there any taper? Khukuris should taper, IMHO. (and have fullers. :D)

The handle is beautiful but, like you said, with no pins in there it leaves a little to wonder about.

It is a nice knife, but it doesn't have enough background information to warrant the price. I bet if he listed it for $250 - 300 he'd get it sold. It might very well be worth a lot more, but who knows ....

I'll take vanilla.

I've seen some knives that I thought warranted their high prices, but I could get a couple really nice Grecos and a kuk or two- and have enough left for Dan to make me up something to spec- and I know those'll all work! This piece...eh.

I think the stag hilted M43 that someone got awhile back is better looking.

I agree wholeheartedly!!!! :D

The ePray KLO is sort of pretty in a freaky way, can you tell it doesn't really appeal too me?
The Crown Stag is beautiful but IMO is too large for the blade, or handle. And to me the handle is too large for the blade, could be the guard but I don't think that's all of it.
The knife just doesn't "look" balanced let alone "Look Right." :grumpy:

And for the last straw it is grossly Over Priced!!!! I could buy several really nice things for $1200.00 starting with a nice, neat, little Glock .40 calibre I looked at yesterday afternoon for $339.95. :D
