I want to make sheath belt clips for this two sheath .I have some titanium but it is too thick for that . I have some 304 , 316 stainless in right thickness but I wonder if they have enough springiness for that ? What do you think ? Has anyone tried it?
For this sheath they would not work . I planned custom clips before I make this sheaths .I will use stitching holes for pins which will hold clip.
But I make search and I found clips that I like and I will find way to buy them .Here where I am I can t find anything knife/sheath making related .Even leather I buy from Germany .....
I agree with that .That is just paper template to get picture in my head what would look like and what I need to do first and last to make them .
I bend some piece of 304 and it seems that it have enough flexibility but if you push little more it will bend and set ...Clip will have very little movement so maybe it should work .I will make something like clip and fixed it to some wood to get better picture what is going on .
About pins , I was thinking to use cooper one / 1.5 mm. Dia / but now I wonder IF brass pins would be better . I will pineed them to make half round heads from both side so I am afraid that maybe soft cooper would press little sides of sheath and make them look ugly ? If I explain correct what I mean ? They are thick from side but leather is leather ?

get some 40/50 thousand thick Titanium .. it makes nice pocket clips .. and can be bent and hold its shape...
stainless at spring temper needs to be 400 series or it simply won't be able to harden or become a spring..
you could use something like 1095 but would have to fight rust as a downside..
