Recommendation? Custom stonewash on satin/beadblast finish

Anyone did DIY stonewash on satin finish like in BM Rift, BM 943 or Mini Reflex without making acid etch?

I've done it. Your starting finish will affect how it looks. A shiny or satin blade will look... odd. A bead blasted blade that is stonewashed will look quite nice.

Sadly, not good ones. It was an experiment on a cheap Chinese blade, and I deleted the images quite a while ago.

Here are a few.

The satin blade is a standard 154cm blade with factory finish. (Top)

The other 551 WAS a factory satin s30v blade that I did a heavy stonewash on, I was going for a dull look, mission accomplished. (Middle)

The 552 is factory stone washed. (Bottom)
