Custom Stretch scales?

Anyone know where I can find some custom, or even mass-produced G-10 or Micarta Stretch scales. I've been using my Stretch ZDP a lot recently and I really want to make this knife something personal and unique. For some reason, most of the available scales on the usual knife sites are all Manix.

Im sure you could talk to Rival1314, ryanv403, ShepardCC or Alexander Dietz about having some made they are all high quality crafters here on the forums

In case you haven't seen this beautiful piece, here are some pictures borrowed from The Deacon of the bolstered cocobolo stretch he received direct from Sal. Makes me want to give the stretch another try!

WOW!!! Now that's a beautiful Stretch... I would buy that in a heartbeat (please Sal... make a Stretch Sprint Run just like this... but use ZDP instead of VG10). :)

Did you find anyone yet to do the G-10 on a Stretch? I am looking as we'll.

I emailed Alexander Dietz (he's here on BF) about the Stretch scales and, due to the more complex milling, he quoted about $140 for micarta. It's pricey, but I love the look of his other work, so if I pull the trigger (on G10 or micarta) he'll definitely be the one I buy from.
 
The carbon fiber Stretch has full liners so custom scales should be cheaper and easier to make. Getting a CF Stretch might be a bit more expensive though so the total would probably be about the same.
 
Still looking if anyone has any other leads. I talked to Cuscadi but they wanted $192 plus shipping across the pond. Thats almost 3x what knife is worth.

Another option, for someone with patience, might be to wait for the VG-10 Damascus/Nishijin GF version. Am sure it will use the full liners and steel backspacer of the CF version.
 
I realize this is a bit of an old thread, but did you ever find anyone to make you scales? I have a stretch in Super Blue that I want scales for. Hate the stock ones and the knife never gets used.
