Mario,
I'm afraid I won't be making your wait any easier when I tell you that the Strider custom folder is an incredible piece of gear. It's a liner lock, but it's a liner lock unlike any I've ever seen before. For starters, this liner is almost as thick as the handle slabs on my Sebenza. In addition, the tremendous width of the liner lock results in a blade tang engagement area about an inch long. Giant metallic washers/spacers isolate the blade from the handles, and along with the massive liner lock, make for an extremely solid, stable blade lock up.

Strider also uses an oversized bolt of some sort for their blade pivot. This bolt has a hole drilled down the middle for added strength, and just the hole by itself is larger in diameter than the blade pivot pins used by many other folder manufacturers.

BG-42 blade steel with a Paul Bos heat treat, and extremely well textured G-10 handles round out what is overall an extremely impressive package.

Hang in there, Mario, June will eventually get here.

Finally, a tactical folder that is tougher than my KFFs!

I love the new Strider folder but don't fancy them tiger prints on the blade.

Eric,
No problem. It probably takes less time to make one without the camouflaged blade. Just let Mick or Duane know your preference and you're all set.

Bronco -- could you please explain to me how drilling a hole down the center of a bolt makes the bolt stronger? I'm sorry, but am too ignorant to figure it out.

Thanks,
