this one was made by a german knife maker

I wouldn't have been able to afford it if I couldn't have made a partial trade but here it is

mammoth ivory, titanium liner, spring made from RWL-34, bronze pins as well as bronze bolsters and the damast was forge by a Poul Strande

I am really happy about that one and already put it to work in the shop today

Looks like a handy (and handsome) little knife. Congrats!

Great looking knife!

Are you sure it's mammoth ivory? It looks more like elephant ivory to me.

I do hope it's mammoth ivory, because if it ain't I sure do have a problem... I was told it is mammoth but I am no expert

I've usually only seen the vertical lines on elephant ivory, I don't recall ever seeing it on mammoth, But I'm no expert either.

Oh yeah! That's nice and just a bit different with the bronze bolsters. Thanks for sharing it. - Ed J

That's a fine looking Swayback. I'd be happy to carry that too. Enjoy!
