I have served in the Air Force for 8 years now, on my last couple deployments I kept a James Williams Hissatsu fixed blade close mounted on my vest (clearing malfunctions, etc,) however I am now in the market for a custom knife and wanted your guys' input. I am sorry I am not very knife savvy, so I thought I would come to the authorities on knives. I have a $400.00 budget, I like 7 inch blade, not looking for anything fancy, just very strong and functional in a combat environment. I thank you all in advance for your time and responses.
