Custom Thai E-Nep

E-Nep is one of traditional Thai blade tool.



This lovely one is a birthday gift from a friend last year.

Made of spring steel, with traditional rattan handle and sheath. (This delicate weaving job is not things we see everyday even we're in Thailand, since this is not a tourist E-Nep.)

Also, this one is properly heat-treated.

It's very light, sharp and durable.
A simple tool one can rely on in the field.

I've been using it in many of my trips.

Another fine specimen there friend! These blades in our part of the world are about as "do-it-all" as you could possibly get. Although I must say the scabbard's really unique looking (it is a custom after all).
