Custom Trad Folders

Hi everyone,

I am new to world of custom makers. I mostly have GECs, but have been looking at custom makers.

I am trying to assess the custom scene and am wondering if anyone has a list or feedback from makers they've dealt with.

So far I've been looking at Rhidian, Moran, and K'roo. How do they rank?

I would recommend Cosimo De Benedetto . He’s a great knife maker. You will find plenty examples of his work here.

Rhidian and Moran I can say from experience have some of the best fit and finish of any custom traditionals out there. Other active makers I would add to that list, in no particular order, are Reese Bose, Keith Johnson, Bret Dowell, Grayson Jennings, David Kramp, Daniel Keown, Tim Robertson, Tom Ploppert, Jason Ritchie and Jim Dunlap. I’m sure I’m forgetting some others, but those makers largely comprise my collection.

I am a fan of Ray Cover. A bit different looking from the usual traditionals, but I love his fat looking knives.
