I've carried and used this thing every day since I got it back in the Spring. It's a little dirtier, and I think it may have gotten contaminated with the Filth on my last outing, but the designer, Gabe Suarez, assures me that "...all TSD blades are field capable of being totally blood borne pathogen sanitized (and all associated liabilities thereof)...in the field."

The o1 tool steel blade gets hair-laser sharp with a couple minutes using the extra-fine stones on the sharpmaker, and keeps its edge through cutting chores no problem.

I also chipped the tip on it at one point (Slippery hands, tile floor) and had it reground, so mine's like 1/8" shorter than it should be (Although the tip angle is a bit shallower, making it an even better peircer)
