Greetings all.
I recently purchased a Spyderco Para Military 2, black blade, black screws, camo handle.
I would like to replace the camo scales by adding/purchasing wood scales for it and came across this web site located in Germany.

I like the way "the animal” model looks, which is currently around $101.00 (depending on the Euro at time of purchase).

I'd like to know if any member/s of this forum may be familiar with this company?
Or any thoughts?

Thanks for any info, much appreciated.

Luke at Cuscadi will take care of you... Here's a set of PM 2 sand blasted vintage brown micarta scales with a solid blue glow backspacer I got from Cuscadi a few weeks ago.

Thanks 'gooeytec' and 'baine'.
Just did a search... and found several posts that Cusadi appears to have a very positive rep.
Member 'worshipNtribute' wrote "they're about 100 usd normally, shipped, and they are fantastic".
Sounds good, I should have did a search before posting.

Thanks guys, much appreciated

The deep carry clip is from STR... You can find his forum right here on Bladeforums under the Knife Makers section.

worshipNtribute approves of this message :D

They were a pleasure to deal with. The owner speaks english relatively well (english is not his first language) and he was very good about responding. He's been pretty busy lately, but I would definitely go through them again (and I most likely will). I got custom scales on my ritter mini griptilian and they fit perfectly. I'm a bit OCD about this sort of thing (can't handle blade play, or anything loose) and they fit beyond my expectations. The materials they use are all top notch as well. You won't be disappointed. After about 2-3 months of constant EDC they look the exact same as the day I got them.

Greetings 'worshipNtribute' that sounds reassuring, I sent Cusadi an email and received a reply rather quickly.
I've always thought about having a knife with wood scales, after doing a search in Google, the Cusadi site came up.
The page with the variety of wood scales for the Para Military 2 looks great.
I have zero experience w/ wood scales, obviously they can't take a beating (water, scratching, cracking, etc) like non organic materiel.
I wonder what would happen if a light coat of some kind of clear resin was applied to them, if that would protect the wood somewhat.
However I wouldn't want them to look like a Polyurethane-d bar top, I'm sure he/they must put some kind of protective coating/finish on them.
I like "the Animal", I think on a Para Milit. 2 with a black blade and black screws they would look nice.

Thanks all for the info and direction.
Much appreciated.
