This is my first post on the forum.

I made a custom handle and sheath for a Mora blank I bought off eBay. I thought some of you Mora guys might want to see it. The handle is made from some red oak I got at Home Depot for like 5 bucks, nothing too exotic or fancy. I also made a leather sheath for it. This was the second sheath I have made so I had some trouble with the dyeing. I purposely tried to make it look a little more "aged" to cover it up. The stitching is quite bad in the front in my opinion. I have made a sheath since and the stitching came out much better. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks great. I think it's pretty cool you made the handle and sheath yourself, it gives the knife some personality as well as some sentimental value. Your project turned out good.

Nice work JM,I like the leaf.I've been thinking about getting one of those blanks myself & seeing yours is pushing me towards it.

That is a great looking sheath for only your second try also.
I feel that a sheath is just a tool for carrying a tool & they don't need to be fancy, just functional so warts don't bother me.

Thanks for sharing your work.
