I have an older Western Bowie that I've bent the guards on throwing. I don't carry it much because it is so huge. I once saw an article in Soldier of Fortune Magazine that told you how to take some steel off the blade and lower the point, then saw off the s-hook brass gaurds and round them off, and take some wood off the handle. Is there anyone out there who knows what I'm talking about and would be willing to do it? Also I'd like a kydex sheath made for it once it is modified. Price?
Thanks,
Greg
