Check these guys out. I've had them do engravings for me on stainless steel and acrylic. Both turned out exactly as requested. Each order was for only one item.
I put exactly in bold because they work with you until they know exactly what you want and exactly how/where you want it placed on the item. Once that is established they send you a mock up of what the finished product will look like. They don't proceed with the engraving until you approve the mock up.
In the end, the finished product and the mock up look exactly the same. In my opinion, the cost was very reasonable considering all the time they spent to make sure I got what I wanted. My items are a bit too personal to post pictures here but I can assure you that these guys are fantastic at what they do.
