hey,
I’m new to this forum so I hope I’m not stepping on toes or posting in the wrong place!
i recently purchased a ZT0562cf a couple days ago. My plan is to customize it!
Q1: can I get a deep carry clip customized for this knife by Rick Hinderer himself or is it something I can add myself? ie. the skull as one example.
Q2: I’m in western Canada, can a guy get an official Hinderer xm-18 3”?
Q3: anyone know where I can get some anodizing done for this ZT0562?
Thanks in advance for your advise!

Welcome Brian,
there isn't really anything out there in terms of custom clip for the 0562 since it comes with a deep carry clip, and most people like/prefer deep carry clips, there wasn't enough demand for somebody to engineer one. The most customizable platform would be the XM Series, particularly the 3.5 (Clips, Hardware, Scales, Steel Flame "Stuff" ).
In regards to your second question, there is a Canadian dealer (which you can find on the Hinderer Knives Website under Dealer Locator) who is an official RHK distributor, they have the older XM series in stock, not the current Gen...5? 6? with the new pivot system an inserts AND is fairly expensive as far I can tell. Again, some fellow Canadians might be able to help you better when it comes to possibly ordering in the US even with your rather draconian laws.
As for anodizing, if you're somewhat handy and technically inclined it is doable at home with a few household chemicals, titanium wire and 9v batteries, I am sure however there are Canadian members who might be able to assist.

Hey,
Since last time I have purchased a RH XM-18 3” blue anodize. Thing is absolutely unreal! Wish I could have found this earlier before I bought the ZT0562CF. Know I’m stuck. I have $1400 in 3 knives and I only need one hahaha the XM is the one though hands down. Anyway!
I’ve done what I think is a lot of investigating in trying to track down how to get a hold of a a steel flame clip and filler tab with the skulls or the cross. I’m stuck on even how I can google to even find the little beads used. Or how to possibly do it myself. Or hell,if anyone can point me to someone who does this sort of thing! (Preferably in Canada!)
Thanks again

BladeHQ has a selection of lanyard beads, and there tutorials on Youtube how to braid paracord with beads. As for Steel Flame I think most of it sells within minutes on Instagram, although I am no expert since the stuff really doesn't appeal to me, especially for what it (apparently) goes for.
