Custom?

I got a boss Jack le and am wondering why "custom" is etched on the satin blade. I know not all Busse knives have this etched on the blade and was curious if more hands on attention was put into this knife compared to other Busse's?

Yes, they have received extra hands on attention to make the nice satin finish. The standard blade is fugly under the coating.

When those were made the LE versions were marked custom because the purchaser could choose what handles they wanted. Prior to that model LEs were only offered with one handle option. It was such a popular idea that lately we have been offering the LE versions with handle options.
