Customer designs?

I was wondering if you people over at spyderco receive design ideas from customers? I have been thinking that companies would benefit if they took the well thought out designs and put them into production or as a sprint run.

The reason i ask is because recently i have been doodling out some designs of knives and a few of them i have put a spyderhole in.

So Sal does spyderco consider designs from customers?

There is a thread about this on the Spyderco forum. Sal started it just recently. Spyderco is perhaps the best company ever in the way they listen to the end line users input. They actually listen to the wants and needs of us low lifes and even thank us for our feedback unlike some other companies that never even reply or recognize a thread on their own forum when the end line users are providing good feedback and ideas. Imagine that!

Edit:Hhhhhmmm i just checked out the forum but couldn't find the thread your talking about. Could you maybe add a link or something?
