People who shy from the cost of a Sebenza should know what it feels like to return a Sebenza to CRK for reasonably-priced reconditioning and see how great the knife winds up.
I was lucky enough to obtain a used LEFTY large Sebenza from a forum member. It was certainly a very serviceable knife to start out with. Nevertheless, I sent it in to CRK for double thumb stud, reblasting the handle, blade sharpening, touching up the lock mechanism and general tweaking.
Holy cow! The knife it BRAND NEW AGAIN! Even went so far as to get the new CRK belt sheath for it, which is extremely high quality. You know that I am a happy camper.
If you are thinking of a Seb and double thinking because of price, then save up some. Most shy from the price, but then wind up getting a ton of lesser quality knives over time that collectively are double or triple the cost of one good Sebenza.
