Well curiosity got the cat. I called Cold Steel today and ask them about shipping and of course I asked them about their guarantee and he claimed to me that there is a lifetime guarantee on Cold Steel Knives. I got to be honest with you he seemed pretty knowledgeable about knives. He knew the blade steels. I meant to ask him about some getting extra pocket clips but forgot. My take-away on this is that GSM is hiring people that are knowledgeable I guess. I feel a little better now. I'm trying to figure what's my next cold steel knife. I don't have a Spartan and I would like to have one. It's kind of fat around but I think I'd like to buy that one next. I think bhq has it in stock

I must confess that I was afraid that GSM, after firing all Cold Steel personal in California, could hire random people to do some make-believe interventions in order to improve the company's image and boost the sales. I'm glad to know they are hiring experts actually compromised with the quality of the service and the products.

I think it's just going to take them a little time. But the guy that I talked to knew the difference between a liner lock and a Triad lock. Maybe this company will continue to be good to deal with and have quality products that we are used to having from them.

Considering my recent personal experiences, I'm not too optimistic. And, speaking frankly, even my wife knows the difference between a liner lock and a Triad lock... But of course I'm hoping for the best and I do hope that you're right! 🤞

Well I'm trying to be optimistic but you're probably right. I guess time will tell how things shake out

Talk about low expectations!
Even a burger-flipper at Mickey-D's should be able explain the difference between a Big Mac and a 1/4 Pounder.

Where are the new, innovative, exciting products from GSM this year?

I don't know. But I'm not to business smart. I could burn a torch and weld a bead and use a sledgehammer pretty good too. But I'm not a businessman and this does not make any sense to me
