I'm new to this forum.....been a member for a while but this is my first post. I just had to comment on Emerson's first class customer service.
I have in the past owned Chris Reeve, Strider, lots of Benchmades and Spyderco's. All of these companies have advertised their customer service as the best. Now I've owned Emersons for a long time and either never had to send one in for work or just carried a different Emerson or different brand. That all changed for me this week and I will only carry Emerson from this day forward.
I sent in a Mach 1 that I've had for a long time, I used to love this knife, but the lock wasn't tight any more and there was quite a bit of blade play. I called Emerson and spoke with Mary. I sent the knife in expecting a wait of several weeks.....nope got it back in 5 days. Yes, 5 days, and it locks up like it was brand new!!!!! I spoke with Mary again and will be sending in several other Emersons in for sharpening and tune ups. these knives will again be placed in my carry line up.
After this experience with Emerson I'll be giving my friends some slightly used gifts from other knife companies.
