A few hours ago, I got a hit on my web site from the US Treasury. The hit was directed through Blade Forums. I guess I don't have to worry if the customer can afford me (grin).

Secondly..How did you know where the Hit came from ????

My site is www.col.ca/rridley/ and it's taken more hits in the last 1/2 hour than is has in a week.

I can tell where the hits are coming from because I run both a hit counter with stats and a real time site monitor. Both give me the IP number of the caller and it's an easy matter to run a reverse DNS lookup.

I'm cringing. All I have on the site is my first 5 knives. I've gotta get that film developed! (smile)
