This was done by my friend. Fully file worked, Blade, back strap, liners, thumb studs and bolsters. the plain edge blade has been polished. The Thumbstud has Tritium inside. Visible from both sides. The scales are fossil sea coral.

Really cool, Rich. THose DA's are really fun to work open and close.

Your finisher did a great job. Daring on those facet cuts on the bolster. Who did this?

I did one years ago with filework and more. Very fulfilling!

Thanks Jim. I love the way it turned out:thumbup:
Alex is from our Empire knife club meetings in Brooklyn

Hi Stabber,

Micotech...isn't that a factory knife?

Looks good...wrong forum.

We had a discussion about this a few years ago, when a factory knife become so unlike the original that it is virtually unrecognizable, it would be allowed on a case-by-case basis.

Pretty much looks like a custom to me.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Hi STeven,

Isn't there enough confusion with what the actual definition of a custom knife is.

Without allowing customized factory knives in this forum. If there were not an auto-forum on BF...perhaps. But that is the best place for this knife.

Slipper slope there Mr. STeven!

That's true, Les, I wasn't thinking about autos....this would obviously be more "auto" than "custom".

Even the strongest dams let some water slip past....

Richie: I did this one up years ago. I was VERY impressed with the mechanism. Pretty snazzy. I wish I was carrying it. :)

Lucky you.
