with approx eight different colors and several blade styles and steels already being made it would be cool to mix and match without voiding the warranties. it wouldnt have to go as far as two different handle slab colors (though that would be sweet) like benchmade does.
i knw benchmade has already done this but i like the endura and delica better than the grips anyway. but to be honest using benchmade as a model with their online custom shop, i think more companies should have this option. I might not buy my first model from there but for gifts or replacements a custom endura or delica would be amazing.
with spyderco already having a stockpile of blades and handles a little hands on time putting them together and some code for the store, they could be shipping out blades fairly quickly.
Would anyone else be interested in these blades? I know there is a community of people who do handle swaps.
the spyderco shop is pretty small as far as staff right? idk if they assemble in the usa or have assembled knives sent in?
