Customize my spydie

I love my Native it's possibly the best EDC I can think of. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a couple of custom scales made of black g10.


any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ask STR, one of the gents who frequents this forum, and the Spyderco factory forum. He has customized a number of Spyderco knives, including these two that he did for me...

Atlantic Salt, stablized birdseye maple scales over titanium liners, titanium backstrap, and reshaped blade

Stretch, brown canvas micarta scales with indexing divots over titanium liners...

Thanks, I would not call it the best looking knife in my collection, but in my opinion, matte finished canvas micarta offers the best grip, wet or dry, of any "pocket friendly" handle material out there. That's why I chose it for that knife as it was intended to be a user, not a showcase queen. The Stretch is my favorite large Spyderco for EDC, and that one has been carried often and used every day, both in the kitchen and for other chores since I got it back from Steve.

Don't want to sound like his sales rep, but will add that he normally puts a hand-made titanium clip on the knives he customizes, mounted for whatever carry style you prefer. Mine do not have them since I prefer loose pocket carry. The lack of a lanyard hole on the Stretch is also per my request.

I think these knives are just wonderful !!!
I like the Stretch design, apart from the factory handles.. But this one IMHO really rocks !!!
