Customized Aftermath

I just got back my customized Camillus Aftermath today. Knifemaker Charles Gedraitis anodized the scales blue. Then he polished the raised flame patterns back to plain metal. My photography doesn't do his work justice, but this will give you some idea of the results.

I am delighted with the way this came out. Charles rocks!

I hadn't run into his stuff on BladeForums, but I did turn up some with a search. If you haven't seen any of his knives check out his photo album at http://photos.yahoo.com/knifemaker_1999. Wow!

Sometimes having a small bit of work done on a production knife can make it seem like a custom.
