That BK-5 is absolutely beautiful. What grit was used on it? 2000grit, or higher? I tried for a satin polish with 2000, and it wasn't quite there. Maybe some sanding with flitz?? I dig the machete. Good job on that one as well :thumbup:One's a customized Becker and the other is a pair of "customized" grips, but I had to do something with 'em lol
And a BK-4. Full height variable convex grind (very high in the drawknife section, a little beefier at the POP. With pot lifter.
(This project started originally as just stripping the finish-found myself needing to use it to lift the grill at a barbecue and as tough as the Becker coating is, it doesn't like heat...)
I'll put micarta grips on it after BLADE show when I have time.
