Not much of a customization, but I just wanted to show off my newly modified Benchmade 940. I think that little things like polishing the screws and clip of a knife make it more personalized towards its owner.

Anyways, here are the pics, enjoy. Sorry the second pic is so blurry, I had to take them in a rush.

I buffed the clip on a buffing wheel and polished all the hardware with 2000 grit sandpaper. Enjoy, :)

Edit: So sorry for the huge pictures..I'm kinda new to taking pictures.

Thanks, I really like the contrast it gives the knife with the silver accents.

Nice knife! one of my favorites.

May I recommend Irfanview, a free yet powerful imaging program that is perfect for resizing/cropping digital photographs or scans.

It's a very small download.

That's one of my favorite knives too. It looks much better like that. I hear the buffing wheel calling.

Nice work. Kinda makes me wanna get a new clip from Benchmade and see how that looks on my 710. I'd polish the clip that's on it, but the scratches give it character. It didn't feel like my knife until it got some scratches on the clip and blade.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Now that my handle has a few scratches on it, it makes it feel like MY knife. I used to have scratches on my clip before I buffed it, but I hated the black coating, so I buffed it anyways.
