I've had my Kershaw Boa for several months -- actually since not long after they first came out.

Always thought it was "neat", but it had a few flaws that prevented my using it for EDC.

Recently I removed the clip & thumbstud, stoned all the sharp edges w/my Sharpmaker 204, applied some White Lightning to the pivot and bought this G2 sheath.

Well I've been carrying it on weekday nights and all-day weekends for the last month or so. I LOVE this setup! I've got a few customs now, but this rig is my primary carry outside of the office. I just can't say enough about it. For under $200, I just don't think you can beat it.

Thanks Michael,it looks killer in that G2 holster they compliment each other nicely.

That does look awesome. How quickly can you deploy the knife from the set-up?

I can't wait to get my SERE 2000 in my G2 sheath.

I can get the knife in my hand very quickly / easily. It does take some "fiddling", as the flipper is pointed the wrong way initially, to open it.

The alternative would have been to point the flipper rearward when wearing it, which would have causes a whole new set of problems.

Michael, when I was working on that, I opted to put the flipper forward so your arm/hand wouldn't bump into the sharp edge, but when I placed my hand cupped with the thumb on top and fingers below and withdrew the knife, my first finger was right there to flip it open pretty easy, just a weird hand placement to learn, but not too bad...;)
I ended up with ANOTHER Kershaw Random Task, this makes my ninth I guess! Thanks Ken for a cool way to open a folder!

I can deploy it pretty fast. Quite abit faster than using the clip.
