Hey fellas

As I've mentioned before, I've having my two Emersons customized a bit, and the masterful Mr. Potter was kind enough to send me some work-in-progress pictures at my request.

Since we're all knifeknuts in here, I figured I'd spread the joy. Here are my girls all undressed and ready to try on some new threads:

Check out Petterma with his swanky machinery  I use a brick and an old masonry chisel for all my mods. :p

I bet they're looking pretty chipper when all done and dusted, Mr. P. does some really great work.

Cool! Can't wait to see what that 8 looks like when it's done. I've been lusting after an 8 for a long while now, and yours promises to be mucho neato.

Same here, Puukkoman. When the knives get back I'll take lots of photos of them.

I'm partial to the Super 8 because of its size and curves. It is a wicked knife, to be sure. I don't think you'll regret picking one up. I got mine at Knife Center, so be sure to check there first.

Y'all know about all mine. All I have of Emersons is a Super CQC7 that was framelocked by Reese. He took the old chassis and made a compound chisel ground Ti blade for it which I cut a wave into (looks factory done). Then there is a normal "satin" 7 framelocked by Reese. Traded the Ferrk'd Commander for a custom bong from a guy on JD. Waiting on Reese to do his magic on a Super Raven tanto, converting it to a Strider style CF/Ti framelock with a damascus non waved blade for the original chassis.

Yup... here's a pic. For the record, I'm a legal medical pot user and have the permit to back it up.

I paid $400 for the Commander from FEDKNIFELOVER and the custom glass I got in trade would easily go for $600 in a custom glass shop. I'd say I came out alright :D

That's one hell of a customised Emerson , it doesn't even look like a knife now. :p

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Rasta-Frei! "Blast" from the past.
Nice pipe, CM. Wish it were legal here... another topic for another day.

I like your Super 8 the most. Too much knife for me unless it had a thicker liner like the CQC13. I sold my Super 8 only because I couldn't justify another Reese conversion at the time.

That's a shame. The 8 is a fantastic knife, and I can't wait to get it back. It will be on rotation as my EDC knife along with my Super Karambit - at least until I send my karambit off for mods too. :D

Love that Persian. Really nice work.

Wait until you see the one that I designed. I sent the schematics off to Reese, and he's going to build it out.

It's not technically an Emerson, but I'm going to share it with you guys in the Emerson forums.

Image to be posted shortly.
