This is my latest little "experiment".
I have had this idea for a while and I felt the WM1 would be a good choice to try this on.
To add grip I filed down the tang and the black linnen micarta slabs 2mm all around the grip and wraped it with "nautical" cord.
Another idea was to put a mosaic pin into a tube and have it sit about 2-3mm in for a 3D effect. The two other "holes" are actually three tubes in one, aluminium/brass/aluminium.
The blade has a slightly changed shape, a thumbrest and a "new" brushed finish. Note how the WM1 mark remains, yet is no longer black.
This knife will (hopefully) have a necksheath that can also be worn traditionally on your belt. I have designed something I hope will work,... more on that later
