Customized MAXX's? What have you done?

Hi Guys
I have only just got my MAXX but was thinking that some kind of texturing on the opening "horn" might be a good idea.My thumb seems to slip off really easilywhen poping the blade open. Grooves, knurling or some type of stipple finish might do.Comments?
Regards
Phil

Gee, how many of you remember when the MAXX first came out and there were all of those complaints about the horns not being polished smooth?

Well, when I posted this, I was wondering if anyone had made those scalloped indentations inside the lockbar like Mr. Ralph's customs have (not sure if they all do). I thought it looked great, but I wasn't sure how hard it would be to do to the titanium with a dremel, and then polishing wheels, etc. I wasn't aware that the flippers needed "de-horned", is this something inherent to the manufacturing process or has that been taken care of?

hi Guys
I find the surface of the flipper a little slick and think that some texture here would help. this is not the same issue as the area being incompletely polished.
As I have used the knife it has become easier to usw the flipper correctly, so i may be just practice.
