How did you do the PB conversion? My self-modified Spyderco Mantra 1. It runs on PB washers, flipper delete, spine straightened and rounded the spine, acid stonewash(it's been redone since this picture).

Some times I find searching works best in this forum if you go out on Google, make the search then look for links back to Blade Forums on the topic you want.I searched and didn’t find a thread like this.
How did you do the PB conversion?
A while back, I suggested that folks take their bearing ran Spydercos and measure the bearing well, while empty. Then, go and order PB washers that would fit the well and lube & stack them to make up the space required.
Was I far off in my estimate?
I want another Mantra 1, and this is basically my plan for it.
Hmm, good to keep in mind, thank you.I considered stacking in the well, but instead I got one big enough to span it entirely. I measured the distance between the scales by the standoffs and then measured the thickness of the blade. Subtract the thickness of the blade tang from the distance between the scales, divide by two and you get the thickness required per washer. IIRC, I used .187x.5x.02 washers.
Customized Knife Pictures.
Self customized, modified that I did myself.

Hahaha man your mods are delightfully insane. For those who just can't stand it anymore skip this post of my mods . . . que Valley Girl voice saying "Oh my God ! Gag me with a spoon "
IceBox if you've seen 'em already . . . sorry :
Cold Steel Holdout III
Clip way too stiff. Cut slot to remove some of the spring force. Turns out it wasn't near enough. Put on pocket clip from the largest Holdout, the one, problem solved totally great knife now.

Cold Steel Lucky two blade (before they made the single blade)
I wanted a single blade so I could use the finger grip groves and wanted the serrated blade only.
I modded two. Works great.

Looks like I am always picking on Cold Steel but not always.
Wanted a knife so tuff I could hammer it through mild steel wire or sheet metal and that would double as a folding pocket chisel (by the way this is called a Razel).
This huge Cold Steel Ti Lite VI in CTS-XHP turned out to be just the knife and I love this thing works just like I wanted it to.

To expedite all this craziness here are two in one photo. Below the Razel Ti Lite is the shortened and full flat ground Ti Lite IV
Bellow that is the Opinel #12 with much shortened blade

I like my Trappers single blade; removed the spay blade from this Case Genuine Stag Trapper

Speaking of Trappers I wanted this Boker Brad Zinker Urban Trapper (the knife below the Stag Case) to have a fat, highly textured, KreyEx handle. This is my all time Grail . . . super light / super capable (not a hard use knife though).

There are a few more but I will spare you from them and must now go fortify myself with much coffee and evil sweet pastry like objects.
