Customized my Vantage Avid

I've been working away at this for the last few days. The scales are the original dymondwood that I wanted to see if I could get to look a bit like horn, not sure if I managed that but I like the end result, feels good in the hand too.

Thanks for the compliments guys. My original idea was to make a whole new set of scales but when I took off the originals I saw the machined grooves for the internal stop pin I new I wouldn't be able to do them, so I thought I'd work with the originals instead. Spent a few evenings working at them with a dremel until I got the desired look :)

Buck should pick that up as an optional scale. Looks a little similar to the csar handles so they shoud
be able to convert rather easily.
 
Again, well done!

Hope Buck picks up on more options for this knife. I now I would love to see more scale options for it.
