the raw material had no form at all, the inletting was a long and delicate work

I'm guessing coral is a first. At least I've never seen it done before. It looks great.

Is it quite a dense coral, like say pumice, or is it lighter and more fragile feeling. If so, is it stabilized with epoxy or something....? So many questions, so little time.
