I did a little mod job on a stainless handled Native. I added some texture, which really improves the grip. Most common complaint I've seen on steel-handle Spydies is slippery, so this solves a bit of that problem. Also adds a pleasing look, in my opinion.

This was inspired by a thread I saw just a couple weeks ago. I'd love to give the original poster credit, but I searched and searched and couldn't find the thread. Any help would be appreciated!

I got this knife used- it's been around the block! But it's got years left in it, and I think I've added a bit of usability to it too.

Asking $65 shipped.
Thanks for looking!

Cool mod :) I did the same thing to a Byrd I own because of what you said , the handle is too slippery lol.
I did not know they made the Native in S/S handle though.

Oh man I aint worried about it , but thanks for thinking that way.
:)
I am slightly tempted to buy that knife but.. I do not like S/S handles and never have. Why I keep buying them sometimes is beyond me lol... the two things I dont like aout them is one - slippery and two - they scratch easily, I mean they make sassy looking Gent's knives for cool occasions but I'm picky about scratches and the like and that would bug me to no end , I had to give the Byrd a quick polish every other week to keep the small scratches off.
Anyone I've mumbled enough this morning. hehehe
Good luck Bro.
