Customized Strider PT

I picked up a used Strider PT on the exchange here, and loved the size and ergos for office dress, but felt the tiger stripes and black G10 wouldn't fly in the office environment.

Phillip Dobson made and installed a beautiful cocobolo wood scale and a blue G10 backspacer. The photo below is Phil's but really doesn't do justice to the scale.

The blade and handle look great! Not sure I am a fan of the blue though. It seems to clash with that nice wood. I think a burgundy or even red would have worked better but it's still really nice and could always be changed later.

That is outstanding work. I don't care for the blue backspacer either, but it does make the knife look much more "office friendly" IMAO.
