does anyone know of a place (or if they even make them this way) that customizes both sides of a spyderco? the pic belows shows what the clip side looks like. imo crap compared to the other side. i was wondering if anybody does both and simply gets rid of the clip? it would probably be the thickness of an old fashioned buck knife. here is a pic of one i saw on ebay

Santa Fe Stoneworks is the place I would reccommend for that type of work. While they normally only do one side on Spyderco models other than the Kiwi and Kopa, they will do both on special order. They will even work with customer supplied scale material.

The only other source I know for that type of stonework is Brian Yellowhorse. I have one Delica embellished by him and will say he does excellent work, but I do not know how to contact him, or if he does special orders for individuals.

Frank Recupero did a civilian for me. both sides and complete filework. It looks amazing. I don't know if he still participates on this board, but his user id is ats34.

I can highly recommend him. He also has pieces on display at Blade Art.
