customized zt 301 in CF

i got this baby the other day, and decided to dress her up. when i took it apart, i saw that the scale is countersunk to accept the speed safe. so a few hours later (with sore fingers) i made a cf scale complete with countersunk innards.

the speed safe still works like a dream..

Just kidding:D, that is Sweet! I have been wanting a ZT30X for some time. That looks outstanding. I especially love the grip pattern. Do you like it better than the G10. Oh, and does the thumbstud hit the CF when open?
 
Very nice! I have thought about replacing some of the scales on a few of my knives but haven't had the time or the knowledge to do so.
 
the pivot is not loose at all. and the cf contacts the blade pin in the right spot. no play at all. the grip is comparable to the g10. not more or less.
