I'd like to find someone to customize my Busse Natural Outlaw. Nothing too intricate, just some file work on the thumb ramp and spine and possibly replacing the stock handle slabs with some stabilized wood or bone. If you're a custom knifemaker and this is something you could do, please email me with an approximate cost or other ideas. Any suggestions of makers not on the forums who are good at this type of work would be great. I can't remember if my email is visible to the forum, so here it is: saj0173@mn.rr.com

Hey Jas - this might be harder than you think. Though hardened INFI is relatively easy to work with, the handle slabs are nearly impossible to remove. A little filework shouldn't be too difficult, but changing the handle material will be a nightmare. Keep in mind also that any modifications you make to the steel will remove the coating in those areas, leaving them exposed and possibly prone to rusting. Further, modifying the knife could render the warranty void...

Just a few thoughts...
