My next Emerson will be a commander or super commander. I want to customize it with new scales, anodized screws, standoffs, and pivot screw. Is there anyone that sells custom hardware for Emersons? Any tips for doing custom work on them?

I bought anodized titanium standoffs from gnoleb
He's a member on here I believe and I bought it from his eBay
They're very good quality and make any emerson look better

Be careful if you have to send it out for work. I got ripped off four years ago and lost a CQC-11 and my money that way. A bunch of people also lost Emersons, Striders, Benchmades and CRKs to the same guy. Even guys with positive feedback sometimes turn bad all of a sudden.

If it's extensive custom work with a long turnaround time (over 2-3 weeks), try not to pay the full amount upfront, no matter how they try to persuade you. If the knifemaker/etc won't take a deposit, try and find someone else. Losing $100 is the lesser evil compared to $200+ if it goes south.

That being said, there are established guys who've never let their customers down.

There good pimpers right here on BF.
And remember, some Emersons are so nice, just the way they are.

Contact Nathawut here on bladeforums, he's done a huge amount of pimp jobs on various Emerson models. He will do a great job for you

Another vote for Nath. He did this HD-7A for me:

It's a Ti Beadbomb V2 from Berlin TiWorks. It's basically a Ti bead with tritium vials imbedded in it.
