customizing spyderco, warrenty?

Will customizing a spyderco with engraving, or adding an inlay to it void the warrenty on the knife? Im just wondering, im pretty sure engraving wont, because spyderco will engrave them for you at 50 bucks + 2 dollers per knife. But would having custom wood added to one void the warrenty?

Engraving shouldn't. Spyderco produces some models in SS expecting they will be engraved.

Overlays - not necessarily. Santa Fe Stoneworks does these and full warranty is maintained.

Inlays (if this is really what you meant?) would probably void the warranty if any type of machining is necessary.

Remember, disassembly will void the warranty.
