Curious as to whether a custom collaboration makes you want to buy the custom or if owning the custom makes you want the collaboration. Or is there no relationship at all?

I find that getting a factory collaboration whets my appetite for the real thing. Examples I can give are the REKAT Carnivore, Camillus EDC, and Outdoor Edge Magna. After getting the factory version I ended up with the custom.
