Customs at Knife Shows?

Hey Everyone,
just trying to figure out how much money I should have ready if i get lucky in a lotto for a Hinderer in October. Anyone know the range they normally go for?

But bring extra as you may be able to score one at a decent price if someone wins and wants to part. Not as high as secondary market but a little more than table. Just saying!
 
Rob! Thank you!!!! I'm so TOTALLY psyched!!!! I work for a company based in JC and I often stay at the Westin Newport which is just a couple blocks from the main office. I come and go as I please so I am definitely going to schedule a trip into the home office in November! YES!!!!! Gotta start squirreling away money!!! WoooHoooooo!!!!!!
 
So, just so I know, can someone explain to me how the lottery works and do they do it every day or just at the very last day? I'll probably only get to go to the first day (Friday)...
 
There are 2 lotteries at the NJ show, one on Friday and on Saturday. Generally they are held mid - late afternoon, you can stop by anytime during the day to pick up a lottery card.
 
I'll be making the Plaza show this year for sure. Maybe I'll get lucky at my first Hinderer lotto!! =)
 
Good luck to everyone on the lotteries. I can't go, but am curious. What are the usual "odds". obviously there are more people than knives for sale, but how many people usually go home empty handed? Is it 1/3 win? 1/10?
 
It all depends on the show. Blade was 1 in 10 this year, we gave out roughly 350 cards each day, and had 35 knives per day. Plaza show last year, about 80-100 cards per day, and I think we had 25 knives per day.

Looks like im going to make the drive to vegas on the 30th, trying to raise my chances of getting a custom lol
