I thought this might be a neat thread. Let's see those fancy custom knives...all the time that goes into the pattern, scales, steel, etc. But then, for those of you who swear you don't just have a bunch of safe queens, show me what they look like after you have put them to good use.

I'll start off. Ken Erickson ---- Before and After

p.s., Ken...I'll be sending this one back for a little TLC ;)

The blade is in excellent shape, but the handles are starting to get pocket worn.

You need to work on your picture skills a bit...

I have roughed up my T.Bose swayback a bit but it still looks new, actually have carried
it a lot. Goin to put it through some cardboard cuttin soon to test out that 440V...

Um, how do you cook those little critters? And what wine do you serve? Looks like skinning 'em could could get a bit tedious - and you'd need a heap of 'em for a feast.

That knife is too cool. A very nice userknife pattern and a real master knifemaker it must be. If I wanted a custom knife this should be the maker and pattern Id request.
I think its so very right bying the best things and then use them, its kind of essence tho the worldorder. Like in the old days, bye as good tools as you afford and then work with them.

Mike, is that ivory or Mammoth on that knife?
Really taking on a mellow colour there.

Checking the trap line can be risky during hunting season. The trap just managed to grab this critter by the eye lashes.
