Customs with secondary edges?

I keep seeing customs with secondary edges all over the picture thread. I had previously thought customs were zero ground. The ones I'm seeing appear to have all factory grinds, so I'm guessing the owners didn't wreck the profile by adding the secondary edge.

I posted this same question last year, but everyone seemed confused.

Can anyone share some information? I'm curious about the inconsistency.

Thx.

Customs come in both zero grinds as well as with a secondary bevel. As you can see here, the 9 has a zero edge on a chisel grind, while the 6 has a secondary bevel on a chisel grind.

In the past, most customs were zero-edged, but some also had the secondary bevel. It depends on Ernie. They're custom made, so there's bound to be variations:)
