Cut my own Case texas jack swedges.

As much as I liked this little knife, I felt the main blade at it's widest spot was just to thick to slice well. Not to mention most of Case's blades are tumbled and polished so much that any remnant of a swedge was basically non-existent.

I really like the look of clean cut swedges seen so often on custom knives so,
I decided to use the coarse side of a DMT diafold and get to work. It slices bread and cheese much better now.

It's subtle and my pics aren't great but I can assure you it's a nice improvement.

Looks good - I've done that to a few on my blades, especially after I lower the kick, and need to make the nail slot more accessible. Mine are slowly improving in appearance, yours looks much better than the first couple I did. :)

Thanks Chris, I wasn't very hesitant to give it a go since the knife was under $40. If it had been a more expensive knife I would have probably left it for fear of making a mess of it.
