cut myself 3 times with Trekker

Does anyone have any insight into this.
I cut my fingers 3 times in the course of 3 days using my new One handed Vic Trekker while in the open and locked position. I have never cut myself with any other knife. I am thinking that it has to do with the knife itself and not me because I am generally very coordinated and dextrous...but maybe it has nothing to do with the knife? I am back to using my SAK huntsman and SOG fixed blade and have not cut myself since that time.

Due to my great concern for your well being I will properly exorcise the demons possessing your Trekker. Send it to me immediately before your life is forever ruined. BTW: Once I exorcise any spiritual beings from said knife, the knife becomes bonded to my soul and can be wielded by no other. It will therefore be necessary for the Trekker to be kept in custody with me.:D

It's a long blade with fiendishly sharp "misplaced" serrations. Your normal knife use technique may be leaving you vulnerable to the different pattern.

I found the large, shaped handle very ergonomic, but the lock was counterintuitive, and I still have to be careful closing it. No blood loss, though. :)

Don't feel bad---I've got 10 slices between my two hands from a weekend of playing with my new BM525-----sharp little bugger.

It's all broke in---lubed and functioning smoothly now.:D

You know what they say...

Cut yourself once, shame on the knife.

Cut yourself twice, shame on you.

Cut yourself three times, you have a psychiatric disorder.

Some people just aren't meant to play with sharp objects.
They convince themselves they are well coordinated, but in reality they are spastic.
