Cut Myself Shaving

I just made an attempt to shave my face with my Izula. After removing most of the hair from my arms and legs this week testing the 5 new knives I purchased I decided I needed a real shave.

So I got the shaving cream, lathered up and started shaving with the Izula. Things progressed well at first. The cheeks were easy, the neck was scary but not to bad. Then came the curves, I moved the knife slightly in a horizontal pull and walla, I have a nice shaving cut on my chin.

I finished up with my electric razor, I don't want to wake up next to the wife looking like Sid Vicious...
 
You are a braver man than me, I only try shaving the side burns with my knives. The curvy stuff and my jugular, I mean neck, I leave to a Gillette razor.
 
i used a not-quite-sharp-enough straight razor once. it got the job done, but i lost a little blood. gotta get some waterstones and a proper strop.
 
I shave habitually with a straight razor. It is, indeed, when you have an edge that isn't quite perfect that you start nicking yourself. :)

i did that at work the other day. not fun hehe. try explaining that to the boss
 
LOL ,I dont think I'd try it....you know Natural selection pecking order and all, I went to a Sex shop & picked up some shaving cream called Coochie Cream for a real close shave,that stuff is Awesome...still would not use my knife to whittle on my face though :D
 
Awsome, I tried that once with a buck 110- worked great on the cheaks, but I couldn't bring myself to try the neck:D
 
Shaved with a KaBar USMC after my father put an edge on it. It was the best edge I ever had on a knife. I just can't sharpen a knife like the old man could!

I did take my RC-6 down my forearm to show my girls how sharp it is.
One stroke, no repeat and my arm was smooth as a baby's bottom.
Needless to say, the girls were impressed. They're both getting Izulas for their birthdays.
 
I've seen people shave with their blades, but never the neck. That is insane :eek:

Gives you something funny to read in the shower after shaving , I like Coochy on my beard but again who doesn't :D
