Well, maybe not the same as Bruce Bump's amazing work, but still...


Just finished up this war set for a guy. Curly Maple handled Hawk, with matching Curly Maple 1911 Grips.
He has a 43.5" muzzle loader with curly maple stock to round it all out.

Hawk -
CM handle
Cold blued mild steel head w/ 1084 bit.

Very Nice how did you Blue the steel. Just wondering your technique?

I used Brownell's cold blueing. You can pick it up at most gun stores or decent outdoor supplies.

Gotcha, ive seen the brownells before but i wasnt sure how it holds up.
